What is the 21st Century Fund?

The 21st Century Fund for HVRHS (Housatonic Valley Regional High School), located in the northwestern CT town of Falls Village, is a fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.  Its mission is to foster excellence in teaching and learning. 

Over the years, the fund has helped to finance a diverse list of special programs:  leadership training for students, a Robotics Team, several trips to HVRHS's sister school in China, teacher training in forensics, student field work in marine biology, a DEP frogs project, the Envirothon Team's trip to national competitions, and a musical theater production, among many other deserving ventures.  In all we have contributed $113,616 to teachers, community members, parents, and students in the northwest corner.
